I know I haven't written in here for quite awhile. Things have been busy for me lately with student government. Sometimes it gets so frustrating because of all the red tape and proper procedures to follow. It's really tough since we still don't have an advisor. We all want to do as much as we can before the semester ends so that we can have a strong start in the fall, but our power is limited since we're not really official yet, and we won't be until September. It's been interesting, but I just want to help people and make a positive difference!!

But even though student government is sometimes a pain, I am still looking forward to the new year! One of the main things I want to do next year, is have a "Creator's Corner," or in high school, we called it, "Writer's Night Out." A couple weeks ago, I went to a poetry reading at school, and thought it would be awesome for students or even faculty to display their work too, whether or not that be written work, artwork ect.

On a larger scale, one of the main visions Wendy and I have been working towards is an empowerment of the students and student government. Right now, the power is shifted towards administration, and we want to try to equalize that power.

Well, anyway, I had my Astronomy final on Monday, so I didn't have to go in today. Thank God! I really needed the rest! The night before last, I only got three hours of sleep because I was out with Meri and Sean. But we had a really good time. I read Meri one of my new poems, and she adored it! We were all three acting pretty crazy high. In the parking lot, Sean and Meri had a race to see who could run the fastest without bending their legs. Real mature, sure, but fun nonetheless. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life!

Oh, and Sean shaved his beard! I couldn't believe it! He looks a lot better.

There's really not much else to talk about, but I am feeling okay! I'll write more later.
