"And I know you like the back of my hand, with a stamp that says I paid to get in. And yes I am your television show. And you're the nicest place I've ever been. Let's just get naked, just for a laugh."~Joan Osborne, Let's Just Get Naked

So, I had an adventure on Tuesday. Meri and I went to Phoenix to do some sight-seeing and visit her foster family. We listened to my "Sex Mix" all the way there.

We went to the Phoenix Art museum first. I love museums-my favorite painting was of a female angel wearing a burgundy gown and holding a water can. There was also an exhibit with miniature models which I really enjoyed. My grandfather made miniature models while he was alive.

Next, Meri and I split a sandwich at a place called The Willow Cafe. It used to be a house that was built in the 1800's. It was really difficult to get inside because of the steps at the front and I burned my hands a little on the hot brick, but a nice man helped me up so that I could actually get in. Once we got inside, I went to find us a seat, and somewhat unfortunately, I stumbled into the "naked room," as I called it. All of the paintings on the wall were of naked people, and Meri and I ate directly underneath this very explicit painting of a naked woman! We tried very hard to not avert our eyes from one another!

After the cafe we figured that we deserved manicures, especially since my run-in with the hot steps. I like getting my nails done every once in awhile. So that was really fun because the women who ran the nail shop were really nice. They wanted to remember our names, so they kept exclaiming "Meriii!... Lisaaa!"

After our nails were made pretty, we headed over to the Nobles' house for dinner. They are some of the nicest people I have met, and luckily for me, they seem to have taken a liking to me.

After we talked for a bit, Meri and I headed back to Tucson to have coffee with Fox at The Grill on Congress street-I love downtown Tucson. While we were were there, this poor girl got in a bad bike accident. It was a lesson in wearing your helmet while you ride!

Well, not much else to tell. My mom and I aren't really fighting anymore, which is good, but my mom's still mad at my dad. Oh well. They'll make up soon.

That is all.
