“Then we'd go running on faith, all of our dreams would come true” ~Running on Faith, Eric Clapton

So, my dad is a lovely man. We went to Starbucks tonight after dinner, and he bought us "Sarah McLachlan- Music that matters to her." It's lovely. All for preparation for the Sarah concert we're going to next month (which he also paid for). Lovely, lovely man. I adore him.

In other news, Howie called last night, which was a nice surprise, but he was as guarded, vulgar and preoccupied as ever. He said we would see each other in the coming week and he wanted to have lunch with me and Fox, but who knows. At the very end of our conversation he said in his most serious tone, “I love you, Lisa.” I was dumbstruck. His declaration almost affected me as much as his other world famous assertions of love, but I did the best I could to not let it show, so I just said “I love you too,” in the most matter-of-fact tone I could muster.

It was also quite funny when he said that he had gone to Mexico to get his head on straight. I made no mention of the irony of the statement.

I slept for the majority of the day because of cramps etc. Oh well. Welcome to the life of a night owl.
