3:38 a.m. I've been talking to Sathya (aka Sean) all night. He had sent me an e-mail and said he was bored, so I said to give me a call if he wanted to chat. So he called at around 7:00. Aside from a few breaks for eating and the like, we have been talking ever since. I' even supposed to call him back in about a half hour so he can get his cell phone charged. He's really interesting to talk to. He's quite unkempt, and just.... not at all what you would call attractive, but I like the way he thinks. This is not to say that there isn't some sexual tension, because there always is when your dealing with straight men. I just hope Sathya isn't getting the wrong idea. It's been awhile since I have hung out with any straight men, and I don't know if I'm doing okay. Here's the wierd part. Since I have known him, he has always talked about his best friend, but never mentioned her by name. The only thing I knew for sure was that she was a skinny lesbian! But here's the thing. I used to hang out with his best friend almost every day my sophmore year in high school. We ate at the same lunch table, and knew a lot of the same people. It was a shock to see how small the world really is. Plus, I was shocked that Sarah, of all people was a lesbian. He wants to go see a movie tomorrow: "Birthday Girl." I'll have to ride the bus, so I hope it goes okay. Everyone knows I have a tendancy to get lost. We've been talking about a lot of things, mainly just how the world works, how people work, and we were pretty stuck on the connection to Sarah we didn't even know we had for awhile. Sathya is definitely a man though. His mind never gets out of the gutter. He can relate anything to sex, and twist things around very well. It's actually quite humorous. Well, I suppose I should be calling him back now. Plus, I really need some sleep..... |
